We Work on Heavy Duty Machinery
Gavin Auto Electrics carries out works on commercial machinery for industrial plants and the mining, marine, agricultural and solar industries.
We service the auto electrics and air conditioning for vehicles such as farming equipment, and fishing boats. Other vehicles we work on include fit outs for 4WD vehicles and caravans.
We use air conditioners and batteries supplied by trusted brands, installed by our experienced traders.
Gavin Auto Electrics can also supply parts for certain vehicles. Contact us for more information around pricing and availability.
Work On-Site or at Our Workshop
We can work on your equipment on-site, or it can be brought to our expansive workshop in Crossley.
We operate a fully equipped field service vehicle, just updated with an MR Triton boasting a Hi Drive Service Body. This vehicle is fully engineered to meet all transport and safety standards, safe working loads and ADR compliance.
You can rest at ease knowing we adhere to the highest safety standards, which means we are confident and compliant to work on mine sites. We’ll even bring our own safety equipment, such as hi-vis vests and helmets.
Fully Licensed with the ARC
Gavin Auto Electrics is fully accredited and licensed with the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC). The ARC administers refrigerant handling licences and refrigerant trading authorisations on behalf of the Australian Government, to professionals in the refrigeration, air conditioning and auto industries
Our ARC certification is your assurance that we have access to the correct gases to be used in the air conditioning of large vehicles.
On the 1st of July 2005, the Australian Government implemented a licensing scheme to support regulations under the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989, designed to reduce emissions of environmentally harmful refrigerant gases.
Anyone wanting to install, service or repair an air conditioner, or any other piece of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment must be a licensed technician under the regulations. The holder of a Refrigerant Handling Licence is an individual who is qualified in their field of activity and has met the licensing requirements under the regulations.
At Gavin Auto Electrics, our ARC member number is AU31724. To learn more, simply visit the ARC website.
